Jamboree Schedule

  • 7/15 - Depart DFW airport for pre-Jamboree trip and fly into a New York airport
  • 7/18 - Scouts who do not participate in the pre-trip will depart from DFW airport
  • 7/19 - Arrive at The Summit
  • 7/29 - All attendees depart from the Summit and fly to DFW airport

$2000 - $3000 per Scout - final price is dependent upon the price of flights and the pre-Jamboree tour.

We are offering an optional trip to New York and Washington D.C. prior to the start of the Jamboree.

How to Pay

  • Online Payment - Online using major credit cards, electronic check, or PayPal
  • Council Service Center
  • 3% credit/debit card fee will be charged (only $92 based on $3,000 paricipant fee)
  • Flexible Payments - Make smaller, more frequent payments online as long as your payments are provided based on the schedule

Camperships

Limited camperships are available from BSA for youth participants. Applications must be submitted through the Jamboree website before September 1, 2016. See details on the Jamboree Campership site. BSA will notify applicants by October 1, 2016 if the campership was awarded.

The Jamboree will be held at The Summit, Scouting's premier destination for high adventure. It is located in West Virginia.

Age Requirement

  • MUST be at least a First Class Scout
  • MUST be at least 12 years of age by the first day of the Jamboree or an 11 year old that has graduated the 6th grade, but has not reached their 18th birthday by the last day of the Jamboree.
